I am not a writer, but I have a story to tell.
One that may help you through these challenging times.
This is the account of a portion of my life which led me to live in isolation for years.

What got me there?
No, it was not a virus, or a lockdown.

It was my own choice to live that way after a period of extreme loss, betrayal and heartbreak. The reason I have decided to share such personal information with you, dear reader, is that in that place, I remembered who I was and what I came to do here. I look around today and see the whole world in the place that I once was. How did I cope? What did I do? How did I survive through the loneliness, despair, lack of love and finances, and continued blows to my spirit that brought me to my knees, over and over?

How did I get back up?
And who have I become because of that period in my life?

I invite you to meet the person I was and the person I became.
To witness how I evolved through depression and feeling displaced into a self-aware, empowered human being. If you have forgotten who you are or why you came to this earth, I pray you will awaken and rise like the phoenix to be the person you were born to be.

In the cocoon the caterpillar literally dies and ‘imaginal’ cells create the butterfly.
It goes through its metamorphosis in pain and alone. It is in the darkness we can find the light and in solitude we can find the Self.

This is my metamorphosis.
